River City Church League will play on Tuesday’s at 5:30 at Southern Hills Golf Course & Goodyear Golf Club. We will kick off the season on April 30th with a fellowship round at Goodyear. Regular league play will begin on Tuesday, May 7th.

 

The League will consist of 12 weeks of play. The April 30th fellowship round & the 1st – 6th rounds of the season will be played at Goodyear Golf Club. The 7th – 12th rounds of the season and the mid-season tournament will be played at Southern Hills Golf Course. In the event of a cancellation due to weather, makeup rounds will be played on Thursday's.

On the Saturday following the 7th round, the league will host an 18 hole Captain’s Choice tournament and banquet. Any player that has participated in at least two first-half league rounds is invited to participate in the mid-season tournament and banquet. 

Each team will bring 4 players to each round. The players will be split up two-and-two, then paired with another twosome from a different church. These two players will be playing a 2-Man captain’s choice format throughout their 9 hole round. After the round, the scores from each twosome will be combined to form the total team score.  Points will be awarded weekly, and prizes will be awarded for the first half, second half, and mid-season tournament. 

 

Format & Scoring
 Points awarded each week. Players of all skill levels will be able to participate. The Goodyear Golf Club and Southern Hills staff will act as scorekeepers and rules officials during the League season.
